We invite self-advocates with disabilities from both Minnesota and North Dakota to attend this event to learn about important topics that affect your life. We will be having pizza buffet for dinner $10. The dance is free and open to the public so invite your friends!
Topics include: Employment 101, How working affects your benefits; Voter rights and practice using the AutoMARK voting machine; From Enrage to Engage-Moving from Self Advocacy to Leadership; Preparing for Emergencies; How to get a self-advocacy group going and keep it going; Tour the Assistive Technology exhibit hall to see items to help people remain independent where they work, learn, live, & play.
